Downtown Asheville is approximately a 50 minute drive. Visit downtown Asheville for a variety of great restaurants, art galleries, book & music stores, beautiful architecture, antiquing & just plain 'ole people watching. Asheville is very diverse for a city of its size.
•Don't miss the world famous Biltmore House & the historic Biltmore Village while in Asheville.
•Mt. Mitchell (the highest mountain east of the Mississippi)

Cardinals,Juncos,Ruby-throated Hummingbirds,Red-tailed Hawks, Chickadees, Goldfinches, Kingfishers, Nuthatches, Wrens, Woodpeckers, Sparrows, Grouse. One flying mammal-bats.
